State Conference – 50th Anniversary of the last NASHOs Intake

The Queensland National Servicemen’s Association of Australia (NSAA) Committee will be hosting the conference in Hervey Bay for all members and supporters of the Association. There will be a memorial dedication with an Honour Roll being unveiled in Hervey Bay, on 27 September at 1400 hours. The conference will start with a ‘meet and greet’ on 30 September. The State Conference will be held on 1 October, and a wreath laying ceremony and farewells on 2 October. Registration forms are available via the below.

22-25 Apr 22. The plaque will be dedicated in the RAAF Memorial Grove on the Federal Highway on Sat 23 Apr by the RAAF Padre with CAF in attendance. Annual lunch theme this year is "Farewell Nui Dat" - 535 soldiers served in 106 Fd Wksp at Nui Dat and then in September 1971 those still
to serve out their posting finished that service with our sister unit 102 Fd Wksp in Vung Tau. Sadly we have never found the addresses
of all those that served and those we have found many have joined the passing parade. So come along. Interstate members welcomed; also
the widows of our departed. We have a great MC and his stories are always interesting. Make the effort and say bye bye Nui Dat.
