- My service makes it easy to book Transport. For your approved medical treatment, you may be eligible to book transport if you're over 80 and have a gold card, or if you meet certain criteria outlined on the arrange for a taxi or hire car page on the DVA website. Sign into myGov to access your My service account and head to your homepage via the Linked Department of Veterans Affairs Service from your My Service homepage, select Book, transport. Now you're on the booking page to make a new booking. Select book Transport if you're headed to a single appointment and returning to the same pickup address, select return. If you need to attend multiple appointments on the same day, you'll need to book them individually as multiple one-Way bookings. Fill out the dropdown form with your pickup address and destination. If you've submitted a book transport request before the provider details you previously entered are saved. If you need a new provider, select Enter New Destination from the dropdown list. You can add up to eight providers. Once you've reached eight, the oldest entry will be replaced by your new entry. Enter the provider's details now. Fill out the details of your appointment. For each appointment, you'll need to select the primary condition being treated from your list of accepted conditions. If you're a goal card holder, choose other. If the appointment is not for any of the listed conditions, select the appointment type, such as for hospital or to see a specialist. At the bottom of the form, there is a space for special instructions. This is where you put any helpful information that can assist a driver. For example, if you're traveling with a walker. Once you're all set, select Submit. If you need to review your booking details, simply return to the book transport page. And if you ever need to edit the trip or cancel it, just select either option here. You should now have a transport section on your homepage noting any upcoming trips.
