The need for simpler online services has never been more important.

To streamline our processes and improve claim turnaround times, MyService became the preferred channel for lodging claims from 31 March 2025

This means Advocates will need to submit claims through MyService. Claims will be returned to Advocates if they are emailed or provided in paper form to a DVA office. Use of the ESO Portal is not recommended as this will be decommissioned over time.

MyService ensures streamlined claims management and is a safe and trustworthy platform that keeps information secure.

This change will increase efficiency and reduce processing delays, leading to faster claims outcomes for veterans.

How to register

Individual advocates

To act on behalf of the clients you represent through MyService, Advocates can register as a Representative in MyService.

The How to register as an Advocate in MyService Guide (PDF 1.32 MB) will step you through this process.

In order to register as a Representative in MyService, you will need a signed copy of the D9325 form – Appointing a third party to represent a DVA client.

Organisations

If you are part of an organisation that represents multiple clients, please register through MyOrg. Sole Traders need to use the process for individual advocates.

Through MyOrg, Nominated Representative Organisations can:

  • Submit requests to represent DVA clients
  • Access MyService accounts for the DVA clients they represent
  • Maintain records of who in their organisation is authorised to have MyOrg access
  • Manage the access permissions for their authorised personnel to DVA client records

MyOrg is a linked service available through PRODA – Provider Digital Access.  PRODA is the provider authentication service hosted by Services Australia on behalf of the Australian Government.  Information about PRODA can be found on the PRODA (Provider Digital Acces) - Services Australia.

Follow these steps within PRODA to set up an organisation for MyOrg access:

  1. How to register for an individual PRODA account - PRODA (Provider Digital Access) - Services Australia
  2. How to register an organisation in PRODA - PRODA (Provider Digital Access) - Services Australia
  3. Adding service providers to your organisation in PRODA - PRODA (Provider Digital Access) - Services Australia. For MyOrg access, choose the service provider ‘Veteran Centric Reform’.
  4. Managing members and delegations in an organisation in PRODA - PRODA (Provider Digital Access) - Services Australia.

DVA must finalise the registration processes for the Authorised Responsible Officer, the organisation and link to the service provider before you can access MyOrg.

Once your organisation and members are established in PRODA, the following will step you through how to set up MyOrg:

  1. Add a Sub-organisation in MyOrg
  2. Add and manage personnel in MyOrg
  3. Add a new representation in MyOrg
  4. Edit representations in MyOrg
  5. Cease a representation in MyOrg

IMPORTANT: In order to register as a Representative you will need a signed copy of the D9325 form – Appointing a third party to represent a DVA client.
