On 14 March 2021, the Prime Minister announced the Government will extend a range of COVID-19 health measures for a further three months, to 30 June.
In line with this announcement, DVA has also extended its temporary COVID-19 health arrangements to 30 June. These include continued access to telehealth services for medical, community nursing and most allied health services.
The Government has also extended arrangements to ensure people have access to medicines. This includes free home delivery service of medicines for vulnerable groups and people in isolation, and the use of digital prescriptions.
This extension in telehealth services will allow healthcare providers to continue providing essential services to people in their own homes, and will reduce the risk of exposure during the COVID-19 vaccine roll-out.
